Dr. Tej Chingtham is an experienced and dedicated individual with a passion for teaching, mentorship, and empowering the youth in the North Eastern region of the country. As the founding CEO of the AIC-SMUTBI Foundation, he has played a crucial role in establishing the first Atal Incubation Centre in North East India, which has become one of the leading incubation centres in the region. He is also currently one of the Advisory Member of National Startup Advisory Council and also the first face from North East India to be in this council.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Chingtham has been instrumental in supporting more than 150 startups, leading to the creation of over 500+ jobs in an underserved region like North East India, all within a span of less than 5 years. He firmly believes that entrepreneurship and sustainable opportunities are key to improving the socio-economic conditions of the region.

He acknowledges the support received from various ministries such as the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), NITI Aayog, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), and others who have played pivotal roles in realizing his mission.
